Experiences at Brigham Young University- Hawaii

Brigham Young University- Hawaii
This campus was the best thing that has ever happened to me, this is where I found myself and who i want to be.

University Chorale
I was in this choir for 5 semesters and I loved every second I spent making music

University Steel Band
This was a whole new experience for me. It is always important to try new things to expand our learning.

William Joseph
Meeting this man was a huge thing for me. He was one man that inspired me to play the piano. He is also a member of the LDS church and I respect him in so many ways for making something out of his life.

Jon Schmidt
This man was the one who made me want to become a better piano player. He is a composer and his piano solos are so much fun and they make people of all ages exited to learn and play the piano.

Cook Islands Club
Participating in University Clubs were always a highlight. I loved learning new music and dancing a different kind of dancing.

Royal Conservatory of Music

Royal Conservatory of Music
This program is so great! I always felt challenged to improve myself while participating in this. All I know about piano and music theory came from studying in this conservatory
I have completed up through grade 9 and all my theories are completed.

Growing up with music!

Since I was 6 years old I have been playing the piano and I spend alot of time practicing and performing music. I love playing the piano, once my fingers hit the keys I become a different person and I go into a different world. I have taken piano lessons also since I was a little girl and since then I have been in recitals, piano exams, and competitions that love to get the best of my nerves but at the same time I appreciate it because it has made me the piano player that I am today.

My Parents have always stood by me in all my music experiences. Anything that involved music my parents were always there to support me. If it wasn't piano then its singing, dancing or even trying a new instrument. I think that it is very important for parents to always be by their child's side when it comes to learning something new at a young age. My parents had everything to do with my music and reminded me each and everyday that music is a special part of everyone's life no matter who they are. I will always love them for pushing me so hard to strengthen this talent.

My Gramma Watchuk was also a very influential person in my life. She was the one that wanted me to start taking piano lessons and was also very helpful in paying the bills. I owe alot to her because without her help I would not be where I am today. I love her very dearly and she will always have a special place in my heart.
